Le Garrick is a quant French Bistro which has been in Covent Garden for over 35 years, and is listed as one of London’s most romantic restaurants and I can see why – the candlelit tables, rustic settings and cosy vibes.

We ordered: Escargot, Pâté de campagne maison, Boeuf bourguignon, Confit duck, Petite pot au chocolat, Berry Cheesecake.

Anyone that knows me, knows I LOVE escargot!, So as soon as I saw these on the menu, I knew I had to try them, one of my favourite dishes of the night, also an added bonus they had no shells … meant I didn’t need to battle to get them out.

I also loved the flavour of the duck, went amazingly with the buttery smooth mash.

Would definitely recommend for a date night or a pre-theatre meal as it’s just around the corner from the theatre district.
