Perhaps inspired by the esteemed Garrick Club opposite, Le Garrick has started their own club. There’s no membership fee or members’ entrance though. It just involves picking up a card, filling in your name and getting 10% off lunch.

It’s a concept as simple and well-executed as the French food they serve. Steaks, moules frites and charcuterie dominate the menu and eating them outside under the restaurant’s canopy, there can be few more Parisian experiences to be had in London. The only thing we can’t comment on is the burgers. Having been informed by our watress that they’re “for desperate people with no fantasies”, we stayed well clear.
